Writing – Diary of a Budding Freelance

About Michelle Buss – Freelance For Hire

I am Michelle Buss. A 37 year old Australian who somehow finds herself living in the UK. A few months ago I gave up a fifteen year career in English teaching to try and make a go of freelance writing. I am loving it. Blogging, twittering, I was born for these things. My blog usually reflects whichever article I am working on at the time, or my struggle to make a living from writing so I don’t have to go back to the ridiculous, target driven world, that is teaching. Hope people find it informative or at least slightly entertaining. Please leave comments, I get an all out of proportion amount of pleasure from answering them.

  6. My recent blog post about not ripping off other people’s SEO articles (the one you commented on)…was ripped off by an SEO blog! I love it when irony comes with a big pretty ribbon on it! I notified wordpress, but I am officially NOT holding my breath!

  7. Plagiarized? I dont know the precise definition in blog terms. But certainly, it was posted in its entirety, not excerpted. No credit was given. It has a link at the bottom that says “original,” but it doesn’t come back to me. I discovered it because I had linked to an earlier one of my pieces in this new one, and I got a ping on that one from the SEO blog, by accident, I assume.
